Rebranding a high-performing product like a blender comes with a leading question. When you try to make noise in a saturated market, the challenge isn’t ‘who needs a blender?’, but rather ‘what makes this blender different?’.


We reinvented the typical kitchen staple by marrying performance with a premium sensory experience.

Over 90% of households use a blender, making it a staple of modern American living. While the market was there, we knew we also needed to meet this challenge: consumers don’t want to sacrifice quality for cost. They want great products they can afford, but don’t want something that doesn’t work after a few uses.


To stand out from our competitors, we analyzed what worked with our Purée brand products (Savour’s predecessor) and combined those insights with elevated branding and interface design. The result is an easy-to-use blender with a powerful motor and a clean, modern design.

A secondary challenge was the demographic this product appealed to. Based on sales insights, we knew our consumer profile included mostly middle-to-upper-middle class users. As we wanted to appeal to a wider demographic, we enhanced our product packaging, revised promotional copy, and adjusted price points so the product could be enjoyed by a wider audience.

Sleek visuals with beautiful lifestyle imagery, refined e-commerce listings, and thoughtful user positioning have helped strengthen Purée’s messaging as a brand for intentional, purposeful households.
